International Office, Faculty of Education, Simon Fraser University
Program Coordinator Margaret Froese マーガレット・フローズさんと
Cultural Assistant, Translator Rina Suzuki 鈴木りなさんからのメッセージ

It is a pleasure to express our appreciation for the many years we have worked with Dr. Sato and his education students. Every spring Dr. Sato would recruit and send a group of 3rd year students to International Programs, Faculty of Education, SFU for a 4 week program of studies. The students were consistently keen, open minded, positive and interested in other cultures and new and different approaches to teaching and learning. Dr. Sato has remained a passionate educator, deeply interested in providing enriched opportunities for his students and in, personally and professionally, keeping current and engaged in the overall process of education.
On a personal level, Dr. Sato was always most enjoyable to work with- a keen sense of humour, hospitable, social and loyal. During his own course of study at SFU we had many occasions to socialize, to discuss mutual current issues in education, and to support him in his research.
We wish Dr. Sato continued energy, interest, good health and many opportunities to continue to contribute to thegrowth and success of students and teachers in Japan.
With rich memories, steadfast friendship, and much good will, Fondly, Margaret Froese and Rina Suzuki
